Monday 3rd Oct we hosted Lansdale in PCL play, the ladies put together a strong game and played well throughout. Lansdale kept pressing for a goal, but the defense stood strong with Ava making some great saves. On our break away the ball just didn't bounce the right way. With 7 mins left in the game the LC central defender stepped into midfield and hit a 25 yard shot into the top corner to give LC the 1-0 win.

Thursday we played Carroll at home, in a game that would decide play-offs. In a back and forth game,  Carly was denied in the first 2 mins by a good save, and then with 10 mins left her free kick hit the cross bar. In the last minute a strong penalty claim was waved away by the refs. So we went to over time. 2 periods of 10 mins couldn't separate the teams and so both teams left the field with a tie.

Wednesday 12th we traveled to DCCS, knwoing that our PCL play-off chances were gone due to other results. we started slowly and DCCS scored after 20 mins against the run of play. Within a minute Greta had slipped the ball through and Carly hit teh corner to make it 1-1. 2 mins later Greta crossed for Lauren to lift the ball over the gker and 4 mins later Lauren was there again to tap in Carly's cross. to make it 3-1.

The ladies played out the rest of the game, apart from Carly hitting the post, without much incident, to win 3-1.

Ladies finish the season against marple on Saturday and Senior night Monday against Upper Darby.
